But a kitty is an all-time best-ever writing buddy, no? (Unless you have an attack Flame-Point Siamese who demands, "Pay attention to me, or I'll chew your laptop's AC adapter cord in two." But that's another story!)

Jody, I love my cats, but this morning, Pete, my flame-point who usually has NOTHING to do with me? Well, he decided once the laptop was open, it was a purrrfect time to snuggle. On top of my keyboard, of course.
Cats love keyboards, there are days my cats get more words down than me.
